Harrison Dilks

Working through various photographic strategies – documentary, narrative, experimental – Harrison’s work poses questions around photographies nature of representation. Utilising print and installation formats, their imagery is one of finding temporal arrangements within a pursuit of photography’s physical nature.

Time At Sea (2021)

Through a series of images of a site that a person has disappeared, there is a persistence not on what is shown, but what is implied.

Concerned with the liminal qualities in the act of disappearing and the landscapes depicted, the triptych sequencing of the works is a gesture towards a moment in time.
