Sophie Minervini (She/Her)
My work is inspired by traditional Scottish craft and my local landscape of Glasgow. As a process led maker, I enjoy the hands-on nature of traditional Scottish art practices. I engage with wool, foraged plants and clay through rug making, natural dyeing, knitting and hand-built ceramics. By running workshops for young people I aim to change ideas surrounding knowledge sharing and education. I am inspired most by Kathleen Ryan and Louise Bourgeois who both utilise craft in their work.

All is One
This piece is inspired by traditional hands-on craft practices; through hand punching each loop the landscape begins to grow and change.
