Rosanna Dyke

I am a print and surface pattern designer with a versatile skill set, merging hand painting and illustration with digital design to create dynamic, trend-focused prints.

My graduate collection ‘Configure’ takes inspiration from the unity of organic texture and shape from the landscape of my hometown in the Scottish Highlands, combined with lively colour and architectural compositions within the Glasgow cityscape. The collection merges hand-painted textures with digital collage, exploring configurations of shape and colour through a range of technical design and print processes. Playful, large-scale designs for wallpaper, wall hangings and soft furnishings are paired with versatile coordinating repeat prints for interior and lifestyle products. ‘Configure’ highlights the connection between colour and wellbeing, aiming to bring joy and a sense of optimism to interior spaces.

‘Bloom’ explores a playful and illustrative approach to surface pattern design. The collection focuses on colourful, hand painted elements of blooming florals and fruits, developed into seamless repeats for homeware.
