Focusing on themes of memory, these photographs taken in Glasgow demonstrate the fragility of time, change, and the marks we leave behind.

In a world where everything is constantly changing, Mackenzie captures those scenes that are remnants of the past. Whilst there is a physical absence of people in the photographs, their traces are made known through the chalk drawings made by kids on a winters day or an old football shirt tied to a fence to remember a loved one.

5 Fibre based Silver Gelatin prints, framed 115 x 131cm (2022).
