The Rotterdam Collective
With the takeover of artificial intelligence and the growing population, there is a lack of jobs for humans. The government has decided to tax capital rather than labour because of this and to use these taxes as an opportunity to directly distribute ownership and wealth to citizens. This wealth is paid out in relation to the work the citizens do for the community environment and self-sustainment.
The Rotterdam Collective is a council initiative enhancing communities by cultivating fresh fruit and vegetables, for free. Made possible by new capital taxes, this initiative will be installed in unused parts of the city. This provides jobs and boosts the local economy and the environment.
ALT Golf
Golf is typically perceived as an antiquated sport with stringent rules. The physical spaces that surround golf tend to be catered towards a close-minded older generation. This discourages younger more diverse groups from taking part in the game, leading them to believe the sport is boring and “not for them”. For this reason, my project aims to break down that stigma.
ALT Golf is an urbanised form of golf that is played with only one club. ALT golf seeks to encapsulate the social, technical, mental and physical benefits of the game in a relaxed environment. ALT Golf is a facilitator to meeting new people, catching up with friends and enjoying the game of golf at your own level. You will be able to compete and track your progress with our haptic interactive vests. At ALT Golf all are welcome.
