Dominic Cooper (He/Him)

Dom Cooper is stupidly sentimental.

He is fascinated by the time before – the time before now and the time before him.
His work, spanning media, is informed by the remembered images and motifs of his early life, revisited from the confines of a generation too late.
He is currently preoccupied with the metonymy of an ugly carpet.

The Artist would like you to know that his work makes him feel uneasy and makes him feel sad.
He is currently trying to understand why.

You’re Tomorrow 2018 – 2022

This project is something of a love letter.
A love banner.
It pays tribute to the hallway in which it hangs.
The hallway into a building where we, like so many others before and after us, have spent a cherished few years learning, making art and making friends.

This project is an ode to Stow college and an ode to friendship.

with love from Amy and Dom x
